About the position
A leading organisation within the manufacturing and industrial sector is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Storeman to join its maintenance team in Nasrec. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with experience in engineering stores, inventory management, and maintenance systems who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the maintenance stores and inventory management system.
- Accurately capture incoming stock and reconcile delivery documentation.
- Control stock issuing, receiving, and inventory movements.
- Create and configure new stock items, stock codes, and bin locations.
- Generate stock, usage, variance, and reorder reports.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and support procurement processes.
- Assist with stock takes and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain records, documentation, and system integrity across stores operations.
Requirements:
- Grade 12.
- Experience within engineering stores or maintenance stores environments.
- Knowledge of inventory, stores, maintenance, or DMS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail, and Outlook.
- Strong administration, reporting, and data capture skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
