Maintenance Senior Coordinator

About the position

Background:

• Ecellent career opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Coordinator to oversee mechanical/electrical maintenance, repairs & manage a team in a manufacturing environment

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Plus a Technical qualification or relevant education N4 to N6
• Trade Test Certificate: Electrician/Millwright or equivalent qualification
• 10+ Years’ relevant experience in a maintenance environment
• 5+ Years’ supervisory experience
• Strong background in electrical/mechanical maintenance
• PLC experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Supervise and Co-ordinate a Maintenance Team
• Assign tasks, monitor performance and provide technical support
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime
• Diagnose breakdowns and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards
• Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
• Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement
• Maintain records of maintenance work, downtime analysis and equipment performance
• Plan and execute all breakdown repairs without delay
• Perform general daily administrative tasks and generate weekly/monthly reports
• Plan and oversee the execution of monthly maintenance tasks
• Assist with the training and general development of subordinates
