Maintenance Planner at NRF National Research Foundation

About the position

Postion Summary:
To be responsible for planning maintenance and technical services work. Provides support to storeroom operations. Administer the maintenance management system (CMMS - RAMLOG), monitor and generate reports on maintenance performance for management decision making. Serves as a primary resource for CMMS implementation.

• Ensure all jobs task and trades correctly identified and allocated
• Complete full detailed work pack
• Full and accurate task-by-task details to do the job right first timeAll materials / parts are ordered to agreed delivery requirementsWO is correctly prepared and fully specified whilst complying with SHEQ requisitesRisk in each task identified and controlledEngineering and financial reportsApply stringent rules to achieve a radio quit zoneIdentify system issues and reports
• Perform analysis off system for tasks/store items/scheduling/safety/QAPerform modifications analysis onto RAMLOG system
• Record keeping of equipment failures, Inspections, available spares and service records
• Recordkeeping and capturing of SMA work

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6

Minimum Experience:

• 5-5 years

• National Diploma NQF-6 Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) Valid drivers’ license (Code B)Computer Literacy

Experience:

• 5-years working experience in the maintenance systemsPlanning, scheduling and administrative experience in an engineering/construction environmentExperience in CMMS systems

Knowledge:

• Maintenance and operations practices and procedures Relevant materials standardsMaintenance strategies and applications Computer applications that support maintenanceQuality Management system OHS Act and applicable regulationsTechnical knowledge to support the planning of maintenance work
