About the position
A well-established manufacturing company based in Parow is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their Engineering team on a 3-month contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on individual who is immediately available and has experience within a maintenance or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the planned maintenance system
- Schedule and monitor planned and preventative maintenance
- Manage maintenance requests and issue reminders to relevant stakeholders
- Generate and maintain maintenance reports
- Design maintenance schedules for new equipment
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CMMS systems
- Assist with stores stock-taking and inventory control
- Lead and support the maintenance team
- Ensure SHEQ compliance is maintained
Minimum Requirements
- BTech / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 4–5 years’ experience in a maintenance or production environment
- Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) advantageous
- Experience in site and building maintenance advantageous
- Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills
- Must be available immediately
