Maintenance Manager

About the position

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a hospitality background to oversee the preventative maintenance of their facilities. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of HVAC plant rooms, chiller towers, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong technical background, financial acumen, and the ability to manage contractors efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Oversee and perform preventative maintenance for hotel facilities.
• Ensure the smooth operation of HVAC plant rooms, chiller towers, and refrigeration systems.
• Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate with external contractors.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and cost control related to maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and expenditures.

Requirements

• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and chiller towers.
• Plumbing experience is advantageous.
• Financially savvy, with experience in budgeting and expense management.
• Excellent contractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work shifts as per operational requirements.
