About the position
Introduction
The incumbent will be responsible for the scheduled facilities preventive maintenance, facilities corrective maintenance, contract and quality management of third-party service providers, facilities assets and areas, and managing a small team of a maintenance assistant and general assistants.
Ensuring that all facilities maintenance are done, in accordance with company policy, standards, guidelines, specification, standard operating procedures and OSH guidelines.
This well-organized, flexible, self-motivated individual must have the ability to multi-task and interact professionally with staff at all levels, and third-party service providers. Must have strong decision-making abilities, quality assurance skills, and attention to detail are critically important.
Duties & Responsibilities
The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:
- Contract Management of third-party service providers (SLAs, KPIs, change control, performance scoring)
- Service provider quality control (works definition & inspections)
- Scheduled preventive maintenance (lights, electrical outlets, electrical distribution boards, electric fence, extractor fans, gate motors, HVAC, fire sprinkler system, smoke detection system, gas suppressor system, fire extinguishers, plumbing, waste management, gardening services, irrigation systems, yard cleaning and housekeeping, external building, internal building, signage)
- Corrective maintenance (24-hour turnaround time SLA)
- Works order process
- Ticketing process
- Non-conformance process
- Increase sustainability and energy sufficiency
- Assist, setting up and coordinate with all functions / special events as requested by internal customers
- Full responsibility as appointed section 8(2) OHS, for all buildings under direct control and contractors, thus ensure safe work environment
- Manage and motivate team, ensure HR compliance as per company policies and procedures
- Assistance & Stand-in in Site Manager's absence
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with Trade test (preferably in the construction discipline)
- Experience in Facilities Maintenance Management will be advantages
- Minimum of 5 (Five) years' experience in Facilities Maintenance Management
- MS Office Medium to Advance experience
