You'll take responsibility for site engineering and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations. You'll support and lead maintenance planning and execution, optimise plant availability, and contribute to shutdown planning and project delivery. You'll be involved in managing contractors, supporting procurement processes, and driving continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives. You'll also play a key role in team development, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring accurate reporting across the operation.
This opportunity is based in Sasolburg in the Free State. You'll need a Beng/BSc (Mechanical/Electrical) along with 5 years of experience in an engineering and maintenance environment within the chemical or heavy industry sector. A GCC (Factories) Certificate is highly beneficial. Strong knowledge of plant safety, maintenance systems, and SAP is essential. You could already be in a leadership role or be an experienced engineer ready to step into management.
