About the position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor filling, packaging, or labelling machines during production runs.
• Conduct regular machine checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform changeovers and clean equipment between production runs.
• Ensure all production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Accurately complete production documentation and reports.
• Work as part of a team to ensure consistent production flow.
• Report any machine faults or deviations immediately to supervisors.

About The Employer:

Our client based in Stellenbosch is seeking for an experienced Machine Operators to join their fast-paced production team within the wine and beverage FMCG sector, based in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidates will have prior experience operating filling, packaging, or labelling machines, with a strong understanding of quality, safety, and efficiency standards in a high-volume production environment.

Requirements:




- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an FMCG environment, preferably in the wine, beverage, or bottling industry.
- Must Resides in Stellenbosch or close proximity
- Experience operating filling machines, labellers, cappers, or packaging machinery is essential.
- Physically fit and able to work on a rotating shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off - days and nights).
- Must be a team player, reliable, and safety-conscious.
- Must be able to work Shifts
- Matric (Grade 12) preferred; relevant technical certificates are advantageous.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
