About the position

MACHINE MAINTENANCE FOREMAN(Reporting to Operations Manager)REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- Qualified Millwright
- Post matric qualification in preventive and predictive maintenance will be an advantage
- 5 Years experience in CNC maintenance environment in a senior positionMAIN DUTIES
- Overseeing of Maintenance department, diagnostics and fault finding.
- Moving, levelling and commissioning of machines.
- Attend to breakdowns on machines which include mechanical (ball screws, coupling, turrets and hydraulic components), electrical and electronic components beyond power supply.
- Maintain all mechanical parts on all machinery.
- Plan preventive maintenance on all machines.
- Keep records of downtime on breakdowns and services.
- Operate lathe, milling machine to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specification.
- Read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Fabricate covers, etc. by means of welding, grinding and hammering.
- Setting and programming of CNC machine for maintenance purposes.
- Ensure that correct PPE is used at all times and safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
