About the position
Machine Builder
We are recruiting for a dynamic Machine Builder to join our Production Team.
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements and be able to fill the subsequent responsibilities:
Skills and requirements:
Minimum qualification: Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the building, testing, debugging, installation and commissioning of packaging machines (experience on liquid packaging machines preferred).
Must be a team player as well as have the ability to work independently.
Must be willing to work overtime and travel nationally as well as internationally as required.
Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as tig welding of stainless steel will be to the candidate’s advantage.
Valid driver’s license – Code B
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of packaging machines according to engineering drawings & specifications.
Setup, fault finding and testing of machines.
Installation and commissioning of machines on customer premises until full signoff by customer.
Fault finding & maintenance on machines and after sales/ customer support assistance.
Responsible for quality inspections of manufactured machines.
