Low Bed Driver - Civil Construction (Wellington, WC)

About the position

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable civil construction company specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Low-Bed Driver to join their team in Wellington.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a low-bed truck to transport heavy equipment and machinery to various construction sites.?
  
  
• Ensure cargo is properly secured before transport and inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions.?
  
  
• Plan travel routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of cargo.?
  
  
• Assist in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo.?
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed.?
  
  
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.?
  
  

Requirements:

• A valid Code 14 driver's license with no endorsements.?
  
  
• A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).?
  
  
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in low-bed driving within the civil construction field.?
  
  
• Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English.?
  
  
• Residency within a 70 km radius of the Wellington area.?
  
  
• Ability to load and unload heavy equipment onto the low-bed.?
  
  
• Willingness to work away from home occasionally.?
