About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A PE-based global Logistics Operation is looking to fill the role of a Logistics Systems Analyst who will be responsible for all activities related to the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities include but are not limited to efficiencies, installing, maintaining and supporting the WMS. You will provide general maintenance and system updates on WMS software, analyse and troubleshoot problems. The ideal candidate will possess a BSc/BCom in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 3 or more years relevant experience including with Logistics and WMS, order management applications and database systems. This entails in depth knowledge of the WMS as well as Logistics processes to be applied for training end users, requirements gathering, WMS support, project coordination and business analysis. Information management, storage and analysis of data through computer networks, systems, and computer databases. To be successful in this role, you should be a technologist at heart, deeply analytical and capable of critical thinking, being able to grasp business concepts and translate those to deliverables.

solutions and processes.

Language – The company has a global footprint, with offices and clients practically everywhere. The ability to
read, write, and speak fluently in English, is a must. Other languages could prove to be useful.
Communication – Your daily job will regularly require communication with JAS team members. The ability to
clearly communicate, on a technical and business level, is essential to your job. This includes both verbal and
written communication.
