About the position
Logistics Call Centre Operator
Join a high-impact logistics control centre that keeps a national fleet moving, safely and on time. In this role, you will be the first responder for drivers on the road, coordinating roadside repairs, approving diesel, tracking journeys, and ensuring every delivery stays on plan. Your calm under pressure and eye for detail will make a real difference every single shift.
What you will do
- Coordinate truck and trailer breakdowns with dealerships and approved service providers, keeping stakeholders updated.
- Approve diesel at authorised stations and capture all fuel and trip information accurately.
- Monitor routes and sleep plans, call drivers as needed, and escalate deviations early.
- Capture end-to-end load details and support incident recovery protocols.
- Oversee pool vehicle bookings and inspections.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (required); a diploma in Logistics or Transport Management is advantageous.
- Two to three years call centre experience in logistics or transport.
- Excellent English communication; Afrikaans desired; other South African languages are a plus.
- A steady, solutions-driven approach and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a rotating day and night shift schedule, including weekends.
The details:
- Location: Onsite in Pretoria North, Gauteng.
- Contract: Full-time, permanent.
- Shifts: Three days day shift [Phone Number Removed]; days off, three days night shift [Phone Number Removed]; days off.
- Salary: R10,000 to R16,000 per month, aligned to experience.
