You are a highly skilled Logistics Manager with a proven track record in managing supply chain operations, fleet management, and warehouse logistics. Your expertise lies in optimising transportation costs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing strategic logistics solutions that enhance operational performance. With strong leadership and analytical skills, you excel in mentoring teams and driving efficiency improvements across logistics functions.
In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics, fleet, and warehouse operations to ensure accurate material delivery, cost management, and efficiency. You will develop and implement logistics strategies, negotiate contracts with logistics providers, and monitor transportation costs while identifying cost-saving initiatives. Managing fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained, and optimising utilisation will also be part of your responsibilities. You will lead and mentor a team, set performance goals, and enforce safety and compliance measures to maintain a well-structured logistics environment.

To excel in this role, you'll need a Matric Certificate and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Administration. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics supervisory role is essential, with experience in the electrical industry being advantageous. You should have strong knowledge of logistics software and systems, regulatory requirements, warehouse operations, and inventory management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills are also required.
