Logistics Graduate is a programme which aims to give newly graduates an opportunity to gain experience in the working field.

Description of the job (responsibilities, functions and key activities):

• Plan, Manage & coordinate all inbound and outbound transport
• Coordinate logistics operations from booking to final destination of the product.
• Laisse and co-ordinate with supervisors from receiving hub regarding consolidation orders.
• Schedule, book, coordinate and complete required paperwork for all orders
• Generate TPO( transport purchase orders) & packaging materials orders
• Verify and assist with invoicing of finished goods stock - Generate invoices for customers
• Work with the clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure shipping requirements are met for each individual shipment
• Additional booking requests are dealt with and other specific requests are executed
• Assist with coordinating orders and loading dates with Customers
• Enters scheduling information into the system for preparation of releases, bookings and/or other requests
• Manages incoming and outgoing workflow and prepares information
• Coordinate loadings with Supervisors, dispatch teams & transporters
• Assist with internal and external clients regarding logistics issues
• Weekly and monthly reporting of orders, shipping and document delivery
• Assist with yearly & monthly physical stock counting & and all process of stock take until confirmation

Reguirements:

• It is ideal for the incumbent to have a qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain.
• The incumbent should also be computer literate with specific knowledge of the MS-Office range and of products .
• He/she must have good management, supervision, communication and interpersonal skills. The incumbent must be able to react to and reply confidently to all Logistics, Customer orders, Shipping and Packaging pallet matters and other requirements of the job.
