About the position

Our client, a progressive and fast paced chemical supply and distribution company, seeks to employ a Logistics/Fleet and Admin Controller to join this progressive and expanding professional team. 




Please note that candidates must be resident in the Helderberg region and have a valid driver’s license, as well as experience in route planning, managing driver accommodation and dealing with customer/suppliers.


KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:  

    • You will have Matric, coupled with 2-5 years experience in working in a busy distribution centre, ideally knowledge of chemical transport and vehicles


    • You will have experience in route planning, delivery coordination, coordinating vehicle servicing, licensing and vehicle tracking reporting.


    • You will have experience in dealing with customer regarding deliveries, ensure accurate stock booking and loading as well as liaising with drivers re stock and delays.


    • You will be proficient in Sage and Excel software


    • You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
