Logistics Coordinator

About the position

About: Our hospitality client is a destination Wine Farm with a European twist. Wedding and Corporate events. Culinary, educational and outdoor experiences for the whole family.
Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics regarding sending samples, whether for local or export clients.
• Assisting the winemaker with WineMS admin. Adding deliveries, dry goods, and all consumables on the system.
• Maintaining the sensorial tasting schedule as per the wine online regulations.
• Assisting with the ordering of dry goods where needed before production.
• Adjusting WineMS with the chemicals as received from suppliers and placing it on the system.
• Add the wine sales orders to the system and supply procurement with the monthly reports.
• Assist with the logistics of moving stock to and from the storage facility.
• Liaising with clients in terms of order placement.
• Logistics behind orders regarding national clients with the wine sales manager.
• Logistic arrangements with export/import of containers via JF Hillebrand;
• Deliveries, invoices, and following up on payments.
• Assisting the wine sales manager with the wine club (record keeping, orders, and contacts) and
• Checking of stock levels at warehouses and distribution companies (Takealot, ASML logistics, etc.).

• Knowledge of logistics systems and competence with Microsoft programs.

• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills – ability to liaise at all levels; and
• Outgoing, responsible, positive, can-do attitude, self-motivated and confident.
• Proven experience in Wine warehousing
• Proven experience in SAWIS
• Proven experience in logistics
• And an Excise background will be an advantage
