What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll be liaising with customers and suppliers, arranging deliveries, processing purchase orders with our overseas suppliers and co-ordinating all aspects of the shipments. You will also be responsible for controlling the inventory and taking care of general related finance admin like preparing tax invoices. You'll report directly to the young and dynamic Logistics Manager. Where you'll be doing it Our client is a supplier of raw materials in SA, they have a young team within their family owned and run business. This is an office based position with hours 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday end 15:30. What you'll need You will have a matric certificate with 2 years logistics administration experience OR, you'll just have graduated with a Logistics degree. You're proficient with Microsoft Office and your natural ethos is to be professional, quality and customer focused. It's a fast paced environment so we're looking for someone that will work accurately and well under pressure. Attention to detail comes naturally to you, you're an organiser and work very well in a team. You're someone that is reliable, has strong business acumen and is solutions orientated will fit in very well with this efficient team. It's essential to have a "can do" and proactive attitude as this is very much a culture fit. This role will suit a process and quality driven person as that is something the company is very passionate about.
