Role Summary
Become part of our Deli team at our new store, New in Bosch which is opening soon.
Pick n Pay is embarking on an exciting new chapter in retail, driven by our Fresh strategy-a bold commitment to elevating quality, innovation, and customer experience across our fresh food offering. The Deli Supervisor will play a pivotal role in bringing the Fresh strategy to life and manage the daily operations of the deli department. This includes leading the team.
The store is located between Kayamandi and Cloetesville in Stellenbosch.
Requirements
Minimum requirements
Grade 12/ Matric / Equivalent
1-2 years' experience in retail

Must be PC Literate - able to print, receive and send emails
All Applicants need to pass the supervisor numeracy test
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Ensure that hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards are maintained (floor and back-up).
Ensure that security procedures are adhered to.
Ensure that merchandise/display standards are adhered to.
Conduct regular quality checks, ensure that stock is rotated.
Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages
Check correct pricing e.g. labels.
Complete all relevant administration/documentation.
Plan and implement sales promotions.
Approach and advise customers on the product, listen to customers' requests,
provide the required product or services and handle customers in a courteous and businesslike manner.
Assist with the monitoring of budgets (expenses, turnover, gross) and take
required action with Manager.
Optimise stock levels e.g. always in stock, never overstocked through effective ordering and efficient handling returns.
Plan daily/weekly production of products.
Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in effective working order and operated in accordance with laid down standards.
