What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with research and trials in the laboratory for animal nutrition every day.
• Perform tests on materials and additives to ensure quality for final products.
• Collect and record data for projects with accuracy to support the scientists.
• Support scientists with setup tasks and equipment checks in the laboratory unit.
• Draft reports on research and findings for managers to review in the office.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from a university in South Africa.
• Honors degree in the field of Animal Science or Animal Nutrition.
• Status as a graduate with a record of studies from a university.

Required Experience

• Complete a research project in science or nutrition during the university years.
• Work in a laboratory during the years of education at a tertiary level.
• Handle animals or perform husbandry during studies in the agricultural field.
• Follow instructions for experiments and rules for safety in the workplace.
• Maintain focus on detail and accuracy at work for all research tasks.
