What we are looking for: 
Our client is in search of a dynamic Litigation Secretary proficient in both Afrikaans and English. The ideal candidate should demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.

This role requires independent work, collaboration with legal professionals, and support in various administrative and procedural aspects of litigation.

Requirements: 

• Speak and understand Afrikaans & English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Detail-orientated with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and innovatively
• Liaise with clients, sheriffs, correspondents and advocates
• Draft procedural documents in Magistrates Court and High Court
• Be familiar with the litigation/court process and timeline
• Assist with invoicing
• Assist with opening files and sorting files
• Book consultations
• Assist with delivery process
