You're a sharp, analytical thinker who enjoys digging into numbers and uncovering insights. Detail-oriented and disciplined, you take ownership of your work and thrive under deadlines. You'll conduct in-depth research on listed property companies, build and maintain financial models, and analyse company results, sector trends, and market developments. Supporting portfolio managers, you'll contribute to investment decisions, ESG research, and performance analysis. You'll also engage with company management, assist with trade execution, and produce client-facing reports, presentations, and materials for business development.
You'll join a specialist investment manager focused on listed real estate, known for its rigorous research approach and disciplined investment philosophy. The team operates in a collaborative, high-performance environment where analytical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning are highly valued.
You'll hold a CA(SA) or CFA Charter Holder, with no less than 2 years' experience in investment research or corporate finance with exposure to listed property. Strong financial modelling skills, advanced Excel capability, and a solid grasp of accounting, valuation, and capital markets are essential. Exposure to the property/REIT sector is advantageous. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
