No problem just send us what you have. We do respond to everyone! Just give us a few days to work through your application.
You're a registered and compliance-driven Lifting Machinery Inspector who takes pride in doing things properly. Detail-focused and independent, you're confident working on client sites and engaging with technical teams. You value structure, accuracy and safety, and you understand the legal responsibility that comes with signing off lifting equipment.
You'll conduct statutory inspections and certification of forklifts and/or MEWPs in accordance with the OHS Act, Driven Machinery Regulations and applicable SANS standards. This includes identifying mechanical, hydraulic and structural defects, issuing certificates of compliance, and producing accurate inspection and defect reports. You'll work closely with workshop and operations teams to ensure equipment is legally compliant, audit-ready and safe for use across customer sites.
Our client operates within the lifting equipment hire, service and certification sector, supporting construction, logistics and industrial clients. With a strong focus on safety and operational discipline, the business maintains a modern fleet and values technical rigour. Inspectors play a key role in upholding compliance standards and protecting both people and equipment.
ECSA registration as a Lifting Machinery Inspector is non-negotiable, with registered scope for forklifts, MEWPs, or both. You'll bring 2-5 years' relevant inspection experience, in-depth knowledge of statutory compliance requirements, strong report-writing ability, and a valid driver's licence. The ability to manage site-based inspections independently is essential.
A permanent role offering ±R30k (Forklift scope), ±R35k (MEWP scope), or R40k-R50k for dual scope. You'll join a business that prioritises compliance, safety and professional standards, with strong operational support behind you.
