Approved Grade: C1.
Annual Salary: R200 635,00 per annum.

To assist the Senior Librarian with effective management/functioning of the SAHRA library, as well as support to core business activities.
KPA 1: Library Operations.
KPA 2: Library Collections Management.
KPA 3: Promotion of the National Heritage Resources Library.
KPA 4: Library User Support.
Library Operations:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Degree in librarianship, Archival Science, or similar, with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar environment.
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
A valid Code EB (08) driver's license will be an added advantage.
Computer literacy with regard to the use of Excel, Word and Power Point.
