About the position
A legal insurance and legal services organisation is looking to appoint a Legal Professional
The successful candidate will act on behalf of company's policy holders by way of informal mediation and negotiations; This includes attending to the drafting of letters and other legal
documents, also conducting consultations with policy holders with the intention of ensuring that their matters are resolved amicably.
Requirements:
- LLB degree, admitted as an attorney or advocate is advantageous
- Ability to speak, write and understand two official African Languages, of which Afrikaans must be one
- 2+ years’ post articles range of Civil experience in a Legal Environment (not limited to one case type)
- Must possess qualities such as honesty and integrity
- Must be fully computer-literate and have good communication and administration skills
- Excellent team player
- Able to work without supervision
- Must be able to take initiative and innovative in their approach to their work
- Able to collaborate with other team members and departments
- High level legal knowledge,
- Positive mindset and motivated individual
- Also possess the attributes as set out under the heading skills, ability and knowledge.
- Strong drafting skills
