About the position

DBN000201 - Legal, Governance & Company Secretarial Advisor

Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that the legal aspects of decisions, actions & policies are compliant with relevant laws & regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Attorney with 5 years related experience OR relevant experience
  • Governance Knowledge and Skills
  • Environmental exposure/experience
  • Company Secretarial Experience, a must



Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • Advise on corporate governance practices, including policy development, risk management, and ethical conduct
  • Maintain operational integrity within the company's framework
  • Work closely with the executive and management teams to implement necessary changes.
  • Plan and coordinate transverse legal services.
  • Provide sound legal advice to the Companies management
  • Analyse information on all legal matters
  • Coordinate legal action that may require external legal assistance
  • Utilise negotiation and communication skills, risk, financial & legal expertise in the management of the client relationships.
  • Compliance and legal projects management
  • Legal advice and documentation reviews
