About the position
Legal/Finance Analyst Role Overview: Key Responsibilities: Review/manage all client and supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with legal standards and business objectives. Analyze and monitor financial transactions, align project budgets with company profit targets (min 35%, target 45% margins). Prepare management reports for CEO and provide real-time advice on risk, contract value, and financial impact. Advise on risk management, mitigation, and compliance across all projects. Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and ensure full compliance. Coordinate with bookkeeper/accountant, project managers, and designers to maintain full financial and contractual oversight. Proactively identify client/contract risks using agreed metrics, and recommend or implement mitigations. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Law and/or Finance/Accounting (dual background ideal; otherwise, strong proficiency in one and understanding of the other). Significant experience (preferably 5+ years) managing legal and financial functions in construction, architecture, or a related industry. Demonstrated ability to handle high-value contracts and work under pressure. Excellent communication and advisory skills; able to present complex analyses and recommendations clearly. Experience in contract review, margin analysis, risk identification, and compliance management. Salary:

Critical new role. We need a high-level Legal/Finance Analyst (or two roles, depending on market), with experience in construction/business law and financial oversight for medium to large operations. Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and provide direct support to the CEO on risk, contracts, and margin management.
R20,000 - R40,000 per month (Highly negotiable) depending on scope and candidate profile.
