A leading state-owned development finance institution - dedicated solely to supporting commercial and emerging farmers in South Africa - is on the hunt for a Legal Advisor to join their Regional Legal Services team in Cape Town.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be providing regional legal support including:

• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting client contracts & agreements
• Legal advice on compliance, transactions, and risk
• Monitoring and interpreting key legislation
• Managing external attorneys
• Working closely with frontline teams supporting agri-finance transactionsWe're looking for someone who has:
  ? A 4-year LLB Degree
  ? Is an Admitted Attorney or Advocate with 3-5 years post-admission experience.
  ? In-depth knowledge of Companies Act, National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act, Bank Act.
  ? Strong exposure to commercial, financial services and public law.
  ? Hands-on experience with contracts, compliance, legal opinions and risk.
  ? Experience in agriculture or working in rural settings? That's a big plus!Why consider this role?

Remuneration: An annual TCTC salary package per annum
