Leasing Specialist

About the position

We are seeking a results-driven Leasing Specialist on behalf of a Pretora based client. The role focuses on reducing commercial vacancies, renewing lease agreements to achieve rental growth, and building sustainable relationships with tenants.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lease properties successfully and on time, including sourcing new tenants and letting vacant spaces.
• Prepare and manage all leasing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate tenant installations and handovers, ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Conduct market research to remain competitive and inform rental strategies.
• Assist with operational matters, lease compliance, and credit control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, stakeholders, and industry contacts.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate (minimum).
• Real Estate qualification (NQF Level 4) required; diploma or tertiary qualification preferred.
• Full status property practitioner registration with the PPRA.
• 3-5 years' experience in sales or leasing.
• Code 08 driver's license with own transport.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of MDA and SharePoint is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and administrative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; persuasive and assertive.
