Learning and Development Specialist: 6 month fixed term contract (Ref: 24010)

About the position

The purpose of this position is to enhance the knowledge and competence of the employees through skills and competency development initiatives and training interventions and programmes in Regulation, Operational Excellence and Examination training. 6 month fixed term contract

Key Performance Areas

• Design, source and manage learning and development programmes to build the knowledge and competence of CIPC staff;
• Monitor the demand for knowledge and development services, identify trends and efficacy of the learning and development strategies;
• Liaise with divisions about their training needs and source specific competence and knowledge training services, as required;
• Build and manage a strong team and ensure adherence to all relevant human resource policies.
• Implementation and report on the employee induction programme;
• Implement and coordinate young talent programmes programs e.g., internships, learnerships.
• Manage, implement and the end-to-end employee bursary process.
• Provision of timely and accurate reports in accordance with business and management requirements.
• Assist in the management of the business unit.
• Ensure the proper administration, governance and risk management of the sub-unit.

Minimum Requirement:

• A relevant degree, preferably in Human Resources Development or Education.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in the design and delivery of training interventions and programmes
