About the position

Nativa Pty Ltd in partnership with the W&RSeta and training provider offers an exciting learnership opportunity for 2021/2022.

This outcome-based learning programme will offer learners the opportunity to attend class and gain valuable workplace practical skills and experience. After successful completion, the learners will be awarded a National Certificate qualification.

ULTIMATELY, this may enable the learner to increase their productivity and effectiveness within any workplace, the Sector, and also apply learnings in various other business units.

QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW:
This qualification provides the knowledge, skills and values needed for excellent administration. These include information handling, communications, enterprise and customer service, technology, organisation skills, self-development, teamwork and business policies and procedures. The elective component allows the learner to gain specialist knowledge, skills and insight in various business areas.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This qualification is geared towards individuals interested or involved in an organisation's administrative function, who has relevant experience but no formal qualifications.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of this programme, learners will be able to:

  • Gather and report information.
  • Plan, monitor, update and control and information system.
  • Participate in meetings and process documents and communications related thereto
  • Utilise technology to produce information.
  • Plan and conduct basic research in an office environment.
  • Co-ordinate meetings, minor events and travel arrangements.
  • Set personal goals.
  • Function in a team and overall business environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of employment relations.

DURATION AND LEARNING METHOD:
The course consists of various modules; learners will earn credits for each successfully completed unit standard with a total of 120 credits to earn this full qualification.

This learnership will be presented over 12 months and consist of:

  • Theory (30%) Online and classroom session.
  • Workplace Experience (70%).

ENTRY CONDITIONS:

  • Learners are subject to the normal recruitment and selection process.
  • Learners must meet the entry requirements relevant to the particular learnership as of which a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent AET and must meet the selection criteria determined by the Nativa Pty Ltd.
  • Learners will be expected to undertake a learnership agreement between the employer, training provider, and SETA.
  • Please note completion of this qualification does not guarantee permanent employment.
  • Candidates that previously participated in a registered Learnership, Internship or WEEG programmes, will be excluded.

LEARNER REMUNERATION:

  • Learners will be paid a stipend and salary portion (The minimum stipend amount for learners are regulated).

CERTIFICATION:

  • Upon successful completion of Final Integrated Summative Assessments (FISA) and Portfolio, candidates will be loaded on the W&RSeta portal and will receive a Statement of Result and Training Provider Certificate.
