About the position
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Test Analyst to join our fast-paced retail IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all testing efforts across multiple systems, ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with business requirements. This role will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and tools within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field – Essential
- ISTQB CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) or equivalent – Essential
- ISTQB CTAL (Advanced Level Certification) or equivalent – Essential
- Minimum of 6+ years’ experience as a Lead Test Analyst, including experience leading testing teams – Essential
- Strong background in manual testing, SQL for data validation, and testing in Agile/Scrum environments – Essential
- Functional, integration, system, and regression testing – Essential
- Structured testing methods and industry-standard QA processes – Essential
- Testing complex user interfaces across platforms – Essential
- Experience working in or with retail systems (POS, ERP, e-commerce) – Preferred
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc. – Advantageous
- Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium, QTP, TestComplete, Robot Framework – Advantageous
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy, Jira, ServiceNow) – Preferred
- Understanding of performance testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies – Preferred
