We're Hiring | Lead .NET Developer
Cape Town | Oniste | Contract Opportunity
Are you a passionate Lead .NET Developer who thrives on building scalable, enterprise-grade applications and leading high-performing development teams?
We're looking for a technical leader to join one of South Africa's largest retail technology environments, where you'll help deliver innovative solutions that support millions of customers every day.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the design and development of enterprise .NET applications.
- Build scalable APIs, microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of talented developers.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews and best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Product Owners.
- Deliver high-quality solutions within Agile delivery teams.
We're looking for:
- 8+ years' software development experience.
- 5+ years' experience with Microsoft .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8.
- Strong C# and ASP.NET Core development experience.
- REST API and Microservices expertise.
- SQL Server and Entity Framework Core experience.
- Azure Cloud development (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
- Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns and secure coding practices.
Advantageous:
- Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
- Event-Driven Architecture
- React or Angular
- Retail industry experience
