About the position
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing LCS Service interventions, meeting customer expectations, and contributing to the financial targets of the LCS Service Business Unit. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting technical solutions, and effectively managing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, acting as the first point of contact for the Service Business.
- Maintain professional communication between KSA, KAG, and customers regarding projects.
- Promote and clarify technical solutions to customers based on their needs.
- Manage customer projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and formal close out.
- Ensure timely receipt and quality confirmation of audit and overhaul reports from technicians.
- Attend to Standby Support as per procedure.
- Manage the technical clarification of Audit quotations.
- Plan and scope machine and line overhauls with customer involvement.
- Attend customer SPP meetings and address queries around spare parts, service support, and payment concerns.
- Manage claims and reclamation with customers.
- Handle costing and financial management of LCS related interventions and projects.
- Participate actively with the Field Sales team in generating new LCS Service Business.
- Collaborate with Service Managers and Dispatchers regarding technician allocation and utilization.
- Actively participate in personal development.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years in Project Management or Project Engineering experience.
- Experience in technical sales and customer-facing roles in the packaging or beverage industry.
- SAP experience in project management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Including MS Projects/Project).
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Technical experience in the Packaging or Beverage industry (Advantageous).
- Working knowledge of the Krones portfolio and Marketing principles (Advantageous).
- Diploma in Project Management, PMP certification etc.
