About the position
We’re looking for a results-driven LCS Field Sales Manager with strong technical sales experience in the beverage packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of bottling plant solutions and a passion for promoting comprehensive product portfolios to meet strategic sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth by identifying and closing new sales opportunities.
- Promote the full product portfolio including machinery, spare parts, IT solutions, overhauls, SLAs, and more.
- Proactively grow the customer base and follow up on new leads.
- Build strong client relationships, prepare quotations, and provide technical sales support.
- Coordinate internally across departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and client data in CRM.
- Attend customer meetings, project reviews, and conduct product presentations.
- Travel throughout Southern Africa, with potential international trips.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical).
- 5+ years technical experience in the beverage packaging industry (preferred).
- 3+ years in a technical sales role.
- Strong negotiation and CRM management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Knowledge of relevant product portfolios is advantageous.
