About the position
Southern Wind Shipyard is looking to appoint a qualified Laminator to join our Deck Department team . Responsibilities will include secondary lamination works, construction of various composite structures from construction drawings and ensuring all lamination meets required quality, best practice and safety standards.
Desired Skills:
- proven experience in boatbuilding or composite FRP industry
- Experience with hand and power tools
- 3 to 5 years experience as a Laminator using epoxy systems
- Strong understanding of different lamination techniques
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
