About the position
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Routine and non-routine analysis to support continuous production.
- Preparation of samples, execution of tests, reporting to supervisor, proper discarding of excess materials
- Accountable for basic laboratory administration and interaction with plant personnel.
- Adhere to quality and safety requirements.
- Good housekeeping and responsible waste management.
- Calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain and monitor stock levels of consumables.
- Ensure all laboratories comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Explosive Regulations.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
POST REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum [URL Removed] with Mathematics and Science
- At least 2 years' experience in chemistry environment within the laboratory
- At least 5 years' experience in an explosive and manufacturing environment Good interpersonal skills and coordinating capability
- Clear security screening record.
