About the position
Purpose:
To drive revenue growth by securing new business in the commercial water tank market and managing key accounts across the Gauteng region, while delivering tailored water storage solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
Reporting to Regional Manager - Inland.
Responsibilities:
- Source and secure new commercial clients
- Manage and nurture relationships with high-value clients
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and proposals
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams for client-specific solutions
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Prospecting new clients via calls, networking, or site visits
- Meeting with property developers or facility managers
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Internal coordination on pricing and solution design
- Recording sales activity and updating CRM
- Daily reporting or check-ins with the sales manager
KPIs:
- Sales revenue and profitability targets
- Number of new clients acquired
- Client retention and satisfaction rates
- Lead conversion rates
- CRM activity and reporting accuracy
- Pipeline development and forecasting accuracy
Requirements:
- Matric certificate required
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Business, or a related field is advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the water tank, construction, or commercial water storage industries
