About the position
A leading FMCG company in the heart of Cape Town is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join its dynamic Sales team
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional to manage and grow strategic customer accounts, build long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive profitable sales growth
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop and implement account growth strategies
- Identify new business, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities
- Negotiate commercial agreements and deliver tailored customer solutions
- Monitor account performance and achieve sales targets
- Provide market insights and identify industry trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
- 5-10 years' Key Account Management or Business Development experience within the FMCG or related industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results driven
