Our leading FMCG manufacturing client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to drive growth, strengthen strategic relationships, and deliver tailored solutions to key customers. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of commercial acumen and technical understanding, with a strong background in account management and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, retain, and grow key customer accounts across multiple sectors, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to expand market share and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with technical, design, production, and commercial teams to deliver customized, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Assess customer requirements and prepare compelling proposals, pricing models, and contractual agreements.
- Lead successful negotiations to deliver sustainable value and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts to uncover emerging opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to shape go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Consistently achieve sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in BCom (Marketing, Business, or Commerce) or Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline).
- Demonstrated success in sales, key account management, and business development.
- Experience in packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing industries is advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially astute with the technical aptitude to support solution-based selling.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
