Junior TQFSM Coordinator at Famous Brands

About the position

Introduction

To provide support to the Group Technical Manager for the implementation, control of the Total Quality and Food Safety Management (TQFSM) programme.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring that the Famous Brands Manufacturing Business Units implement and maintain the correct policies & procedures as defined in the Group TQFSM programme.
• Assistance in the verification of system records, trend analysis and corrective and preventative action.
• Assistance in the management of recalls as required.
• Participate in TQFSM meetings and report back on the outcomes.
• Support and assist the Famous Brands Manufacturing Sites with:
• Support the implementation, control, management and continuous improvement of the Total Quality and Food Safety Management (TQFSM) programme.
• Support the implementation and control of all Food Safety & Quality (TQFSM) programme documentation.
• Support the management and implementation of food safety tools and technologies.
• Support in the review of all systems, policies, procedures, and checklists on an annual basis.
• Support with the review of Non - Conformances as required.
• Support management of Supplier Quality Assurance Programme
• Support the review of Mock Recalls
• Support in investigations of customer complaints and resolution thereof.
• Assist in drawing up review reports as required
• Assist in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis as required.
• Any other duties relating to the TQFSM as required by Group Technical Manager

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree / National Diploma in Food Science or Technology and / or related qualification with the focus on food safety & quality.
• Completion of Internal / External Food Safety Auditor training
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in food manufacturing industry FMCG
• Experience in the implementation and management of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems based on the requirements of FSSC22000
