Key Responsibilities:
- Review specifications and create detailed test plans covering core functionality, edge cases, and regressions
- Execute manual test cases across staging and testing environments to validate feature performance
- Perform functional and exploratory testing to simulate real-world usage scenarios
- Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear steps, logs, and screenshots
- Support regression testing processes to ensure stable releases
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA specialists to improve testing coverage and quality
- Validate system behaviour across different client configurations and environments
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous
- Experience:
- Experience testing web applications with complex business rules
- 0–2 years’ experience in QA, software testing, or a related role is advantageous
- Technical Skills:
- Strong manual testing capability with a methodical and detail-driven approach
- Ability to write clear and structured bug reports and test cases
- Familiarity with GitHub, staging environments, and web-based admin tools
- Advantageous:
- Exposure to SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
- Basic knowledge of testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, or Cypress
- Understanding of APIs, logs, or debugging tools
- Exposure to financial, payroll, or HR systems
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
