About the position
Introduction
We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic Telecommunications Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious developer to build their technical expertise while contributing to the development of secure, scalable, and customized software solutions for telecommunications clients.
Working closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams, you will gain exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), system integrations, Agile methodologies, secure coding practices, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain secure software applications supporting telecommunications services.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and secure code.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Assist with integrating applications with telecommunications platforms.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications during and after deployment.
- Assist with customer-specific software customizations and configurations.
- Document system functionality and contribute to technical manuals and user guides.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Continuously develop your technical knowledge in telecommunications, AI/ML, cloud technologies, and secure software development.
- Begin developing a strong system ownership mindset by understanding the operational impact and lifecycle of software solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements- Diploma inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Java or Golang.
- Basic understanding of database systems such as MySQL.
- Exposure to REST APIs and web technologies.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of software security and secure coding principles.
- Exposure to software development through academic projects, internships, or practical experience.
Advantageous Experience- Internship or project experience within the telecommunications sector.
- Knowledge of telecommunications concepts or protocols such as SIP, SS7, LTE, or 5G.
- Exposure to telecommunications platforms or services.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Docker or containerization.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Interest or exposure to AI/ML technologies and their application within telecommunications.
