You're a hands-on technician with a solid grounding in mechanical and electrical systems, and a real passion for service excellence. You'll be the go-to person for maintaining and repairing key machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to routine servicing and implementing safety checks, your work will be vital in supporting production. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, help upskill junior staff, and play a role in continuous improvement initiatives - all while developing your own skills in a supportive, growth-driven environment.
You'll be based at the workshop, at engineering and client production sites in Cape Town, working with an established and expanding business that delivers innovative turnkey solutions for the food and beverage manufacturing as well as the logistics industry. You'll have a technical qualification with 3-5 years' relevant experience in mechanical and electrical systems. Confidence reading technical drawings, a good eye for detail, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. A valid driver's licence as well as your own vehicle, and flexibility to travel are must-haves.
