Our client is the manufacturing industry requires the services of a
Senior Draughtsman to join their Dynamic Team

Job Role: Junior / Senior Draughtsman

Location: Durban SA

Start Date: Immediate

Qualification:

• Matric
• Tertiary / Other
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a draughtsman in the facade windows and doors aluminium industry.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawing:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for windows and doors, including layouts, assembly diagrams, specifications, material take-offs and assist in the selection of appropriate materials for projects
• Utilize CAD software ensure drawings are accurate, complete, modify, maintain and meet industry standards and project requirements.
• Assist in the development of detailed drawings and specifications based on sketches, calculations, and verbal instructions from senior team members.
• Maintain organized documentation and records of all design iterations, revisions and correspondence related to projects.
• Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and provide 2D drawings which comply to industry standards
