SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant / Senior Consultant Johannesburg, Gauteng | Client-site based | Travel across South Africa

Accenture’s SAP Practice in Johannesburg is looking for a high-calibre SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant who can do both — and more.


The Opportunity
You’ll join a growing, ambitious SuccessFactors team delivering end-to-end HR transformation programmes for some of South Africa’s most influential organisations. This is not a back-office configuration role. You will be the trusted functional expert in the room — leading design workshops, shaping blueprints, driving configuration, mentoring juniors, and advising senior stakeholders on how Employee Central can truly transform their HR operating model.


You’ll work across the full SAP Activate lifecycle, from first workshop to HyperCare, and you’ll help build Accenture’s reputation as the partner of choice for SuccessFactors in South Africa and beyond.


What You’ll Do

• Lead high-impact design workshops, fit-gap sessions and solution blueprinting with HR leaders and business stakeholders
  
• Configure Employee Central end-to-end: Foundation Objects, Generic Objects, Business Rules, Workflows, Role-Based Permissions, Position Management, Time Off and Time Sheet (including BCEA-aligned leave rules)
  
• Own data migration design and execution, and collaborate on integrations with ECP, S/4HANA, third-party systems and benefit providers
  
• Deliver insightful reporting through People Stories, Advanced Reporting and custom dashboards
  
• Drive testing, defect resolution and go-live readiness across unit, string, E2E and UAT
  
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to pre-sales, proposals and thought leadership
  

RequirementsWhat You Bring
Must-haves

• Minimum 2 full end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations with hands-on involvement from blueprint to go-live and support
  
• Deep configuration experience in Foundation Objects, Generic Objects, Business Rules, Position Management, RBP and Employee Data workflows
  
• Practical experience configuring Time Off / Absence Management in a South African (or similar) legislative context
  
• Proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and present confidently to senior HR and business audiences
  
• Valid SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification
  
• Based in Johannesburg and ready to work on client sites across South Africa
  

Strongly preferred

• Additional SuccessFactors certifications (Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning or Succession)
  
• Familiarity with Employee Central Payroll, SAP BTP/CPI and Integration Centre
  
• Experience on multi-country African implementations
  
• Awareness of AI-enabled SuccessFactors capabilities (Joule, skills intelligence, embedded analytics)
