Purpose of the role:
Our client seeks a dynamic Junior Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and drive sales growth in the mining, minerals processing, and industrial sectors. ? Role reports to the Sales Manager
Responsibilities: ?
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet/exceed targets
- Identify new business opportunities in mining and minerals processing
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide technical support
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and prepare proposals/tenders
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs
- Attend industry events and provide regular sales reports ?
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of sales experience in mining/industrial sectors preferred
- Experience selling mining equipment or industrial technologies advantageous
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and independent
- Technical understanding of mining/engineering industries
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Upbeat, proactive personality with strong organizational skills
