Junior Revit Designer

Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Execution
- Develop detailed fire protection system designs using Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD 2D.
- Create three-dimensional CAD models for piping systems to support design, coordination, and fabrication (CAD/CAM).
- Apply industry standards, codes, and compliance requirements to all designs.
- Produce Virtual Design Coordination (VDC) documents, including HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Piping disciplines.
- Standardize and maintain the Revit library to ensure fire compliance.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and professional teams to present and refine designs as per project requirements.
Project Coordination & Administration
- Plan and manage design tasks by prioritizing work in line with project deadlines.
- Participate in costing of sales proposals by preparing initial designs, engaging with estimators, and optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate design records and documentation according to filing conventions.
- Continuously enhance Revit (CAD) expertise by staying up to date with new developments and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- AutoCAD and/or Revit qualification (essential).
- ASIB / IFE Certificate or similar (preferred).
- 2 - 3 years' experience as a Revit Designer.
- 2 3 years' experience as an AutoCAD 2D Designer.
- Experience in mechanical and piping design.
- 1+ years of technical CAD design experience in the building/construction industry (preferred).
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand all building-related drawings.
