About the position

The position purpose is to assist the Asset & Property Management team with reporting support, administrative tasks and checking/auditing functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Assumes responsibility for :

  • Compiling monthly Consolidated Turnover Comparison Report.
  • Assist with any tenant calculations as required Asset & Property Management team or external partners.
  • Assist with any reporting requirements from Asset & Property Management team or external partners.
  • Assist with reviewing accruals to be passed with Asset & Property Management team or external partners.
  • Assist with compiling of reports/information for ad-hoc banking requirements.
  • Analyse & reconcile of tenant accounts on ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist with data capturing for Adjustment Accounts related to buying and selling of property.
  • Assist with data capturing for Due Diligence studies related to buying and selling of property.
  • Assist with preparation of annual property operation budgets and forecasts, together with Property Management.
  • Import and Export all said budgets on various platforms.
  • Monthly submission of Letting Commission calculations received from Lease Administrators to the Finance department. This includes checking the calculation, ensuring that all requirements are met as per Management Agreements and that it has not been processed previously.
  • Internal Auditing Requirements:

  • Checking that Annual turnover certificates are received and processed.

  • Reconciliation of Letting Commission already processed and still due.
  • Tenant recoveries on ad-hoc basis
  • Rates recoveries on ad-hoc basis
  • All other internal aspects we need to investigate as required on ad-hoc basis.
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks as required.
  • Schedule of Meetings as required.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.

  • Be able to work with large volumes of data simultaneously.

Qualifications and work experience:

  • Relevant Accounting qualifications or relevant accounting working experience.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
