Junior Production Planner at Calgan Lounge (Pty) LTD

About the position

A leading Furniture Manufacturer, situated in the South of Johannesburg is seeking to employ a detail-oriented Junior Production planner to create and manage production schedules to ensure that production and distribution deadlines are met. The candidates must have knowledge of conducting time studies as we require someone to assist with production line balancing.

Responsibilities include:

• Production Planning
• Create and issue Sewing Production Plan
• Create and issue Upholstery Production Plan
• Create and issue Leather cutting Schedule
• Job Card Creation and issuing
• Create and issue job cards based on the companies order book
• Create and issue job cards based on the wip stock requirement list for independents customers.
• Production
• Conduct time studies to assist with line balancing and continuous improvement

Requirements include:

• Minimum High School Matric Certificate
• Computer literate
• Syspro experience will be advantage
• Related tertiary qualification will be an advantage
• Planning background
• Time study knowledge
• Good Interpersonal skills
